Dawn is currently teaching band and choir to students in the 6th - 12th grades at schools in the Grand Rapids area. She has been teaching ever since she graduated from Grand Valley State University with her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education in the Spring of 2006. Being a member of LPA her entire life she has always wanted to be able to help out and give back to the organization and is looking forward to holding the position of President of the Mid-Michigan Chapter.

My name is Stacey Overholt. My husband Dave and I are proud parents of 2 beautiful daughters. Erin is average height and is 8 years old and Emily is 5 years and was born with achondroplasia. We live in Grand Rapids. We have been members of LPA for 5 years and have been a part of the Mid Michigan Chapter for 3 ½ years. I love talking about LPA and I am so proud to be a part of this wonderful organization. The position of New Member Advocate will allow me to reach out to new families and for and assist them in becoming members of our rapidly growing chapter.

I have been a member of LPA since I was born and now I'm 18 years old. My parents are Roger and Stacie Pouliot, so I am originally from the Motor City chapter in southeast Michigan. But now that I am starting college this year at Grand Valley State University, I get to be involved in the Mid-Michigan chapter. I am excited about my new position as publicity manager. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone from our chapter and for all of them to get to know more about me.
